Out To Lunch Part 2
By Molly Allen + Maxine Aschenbrenner (2-2-24)
Hey Stingers!
We looked over the responses from the form and we got a lot (but there are most likely many more students who go to these out-to-lunch places)! There were a lot that were tied but the top three were…
3… Asian Snack & Terrace Bagels (tied)
Honestly, I was surprised that the Terrace/Asian Snack shop didn’t get higher in the rankings because they are really good, but third is good enough. Terrace Bagels is a cozy little bagel shop with really good seating (just try to get there quickly or it might fill up). They have a lot of bagel options, like French toast and (I recommend) blueberry. Asian Snack Shop has a wide variety of dumplings, sushi, and boba. I definitely recommend the strawberry pop boba. The tapioca has strawberry juice in it and it’s really good. If you like bagels and/or dumplings, these are definitely the places to be.
2… Dunkin’ Donuts!
We all know Dunkin’ Donuts, with the iconic pink and orange logo. Ms 442 students are very lucky to have this store near the school and in the out to lunch range. There are sitting areas and a pretty wide selection of donuts/dunkin’ donuts food. It’s also really warm there, and you can always get a hot chocolate on a cold day.
1… Joe's Pizza!
Joe's Pizza is a reasonable distance from the school, so you can grab a slice and go, or sit down at one of their tables. There is even a lunch discount, 2 slices & 1 soda (your choice) for 6 dollars. This is very good for kids who want a full lunch but don’t want to spend too much. It makes sense this is the top stop, as I regularly see tons of kids sitting down and waiting in line.
Well, that’s all! If your favorite out to lunch place wasn’t there, I’m sorry. That’s all for this week.
