Arts Night!
By Rosemary Breen (2-2-24)
On Thursday, January 25 we had a school arts night where many different people had amazing performances. Let’s start off with the B-flats Band who sounded wonderful playing “7 Nation Army” by the white stripes and some other songs. We also had Ellington C. from class 602 and his younger brother play “It Smells Like Teen Spirit”— with Ellington on drums and his younger brother on guitar. There were also lots of great singers like Freddy S., Molly W., and many others.
In addition, a group including Charlie K, Molly W, Ruthie G, Mariana V, Ezra C, and Rosemary B sang “Baby” by Justin Beaver for Mr T and got an extra out to lunch! Then they decided to do another song and sang “Cruel Summer” by Taylor Swift but got interrupted by an oddly timed bell right in the middle of the song.
Overall arts night was amazing and all of the performances were award worthy!
