10 Text Abbreviations You Probably Didn’t Know!

You know when you're texting and your friend all of a sudden texts something random like ROFL and you're like “what the heck does that mean?”, so you have to go and text them about it?? Here are some meanings to some texting abbreviations you probably don’t know so you don’t have to!
ROFL: Basically a ripoff of LOL (except technically came before it). This means rolling on the floor laughing.
XD: XD is basically another version of LOL. I don’t understand the purpose of this but the more Ds you add the funnier it is. Also, to whoever created this, LOL is so much better!
SMH: (I actually had to look this one up) This means shaking my head, but honestly this shouldn’t exist because why say this when you can just say NO and save typing one letter.
TTYL: What even is this??!!! Talk to you later!!! You can just say BRB (be right back) or GTG (got to go) instead though.
FB: This stands for Facebook but why does it need its own abbreviation?! You're probably not going to text someone “Go check FB”.
TIME: This is not the word time— it means tears in my eyes— but seriously, why make an abbreviation into a word??! It’s so confusing.
SRSLY: This means seriously, but why not just type seriously— this is also really confusing.
CWOT: Complete waste of time (like that’s what it means but it would be a complete waste of time to type this because NO ONE will know what it means).
OH: This means overheard but AGAIN it’s a word as well.
GRATZ: Congratulations! But in all seriousness why does it start with a G if the original starts with a C.
